Meet the Providers
Dr. Alexander Brown is a graduate of University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2002, with subsequent Residency at University of Cincinnati completed in 2005. He completed his Rheumatology Fellowship in 2007 at the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH. Dr. Brown is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. Dr. Brown has practiced Rheumatology as a partner of the Arthritis Center of Lexington, PSC since 2007. He also has been the sub-investigator for Bluegrass Community Research and has coauthored several publications. Dr. Brown is a member of American College of Rheumatology.
Dr. Kelly Cole graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, and subsequently completed her medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in 1987. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in 1990 and a fellowship in Rheumatology in 1994. Dr. Cole was on the faculty at the University of Kentucky where she served as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Rheumatology from 1994 to 1997. Along with Dr. Rita Egan, she founded the practice that is now the Arthritis Center of Lexington in 1997. She has served on the Advisory Board of the Arthritis Foundation in the past and is a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology. She received certification for Internal Medicine in 1990 and is currently Board certified in Rheumatology.
Dr. Corey Michael Hatfield is a graduate of Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2005. He completed his Internal Medicine training & Rheumatology Fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). Dr. Hatfield is Board certified in Rheumatology. Dr. Hatfield has practiced Rheumatology since 2010. He served as an Instructor and Assistant Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina from 2010-2014.
Dr. Jeffrey Neal is a graduate of West Virginia University School of Medicine in 1984, with subsequent Residency at West Virginia University completed in 1987. He completed his Rheumatology Fellowship in 1993 at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, KY. He served as attending physician in Internal Medicine at West Virginia University and University of Louisville. Dr. Neal is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. Dr. Neal has practiced Rheumatology as a partner of the Arthritis Center of Lexington, PSC since 1999. He also has been the principal investigator for over 75 research studies with Bluegrass Community Research since 2000 and has been a coauthor of several publications. Dr. Neal is a member of American College of Rheumatology. He is an Associate Professor at the University of Kentucky School of Medicine.
Evva Allen, APRN began her nursing career by obtaining her Associates Degree of Nursing from Midway College in Midway, KY in 2010. She obtained her Baccalaureate degree of Nursing in 2014 from Chamberlain College of Nursing. She completed her Masters in Nursing through Northern Kentucky University in 2020 and has since functioned as a nurse practitioner. She resides in Nicholasville, KY with her husband, Chris, and their four children.
KC Wells, APRN began her nursing career by obtaining her Associates Degree of Nursing from Lexington Community College in Lexington, KY. She obtained her Baccalaureate degree of Nursing in 2014 from Indiana Wesleyan University. She completed her Masters in Nursing through Indiana Wesleyan University in 2018 and has since functioned as a nurse practitioner. KC also serves as a part-clinical instructor in the RN to BSN program at the University of Kentucky. She resides in Lexington, KY with her husband, Warren, and son, Eric.
